Last Tuesday in front of the city hall there was a strike from the local van public transport drivers to protest the existence of the online taxis in town. There are more than 4000 drivers from all over the Surabaya by marching to the mayor's main office. They were planning to see the mayor but they failed. Eventually, they attacked the online taxi drivers as they were waiting to in the city hall.
